Evangelism Campaign 2008 Campana Evangelistica

The Zalmedina Street Church is getting ready for its big Evangelism Campaign from June 14 through July 12. As you can see the literature to be distributed must be counted and be prepared for distribution. The areas which will be covered by the church is Arrabal and La Jota.

La Iglesia de Zalmedina se esta preparando para una campana evangelistica que durara desde el 14 de junio hasta el 12 de julio. Como se puede apreciar, la literatura que se va a distribuir se tiene que contar y también preparar para la distribución. Las zonas que se va a encargar la iglesia son Arrabal y La Jota.

The list of activities set during this campaign will be literature distribution, a blood drive and the showing of Christian films at the church.

La lista de actividades programadas para la campana incluye la distribución de literatura, donación de sangre y la proyección de películas cristianas en el local de la iglesia.

El Frago

During Labor Day in Spain (May 1st) several families of the Zalmedina Street Church took the day off and we all went to a park near the village of El Frago. It was a beautiful day and we just want to show you a little bit of what we all enjoyed.

Para el Día del Trabajador en España (1ra de mayo) varias familias de la Iglesia de Zalmedina nos fuimos de día de campo cerca del pueblo de El Frago. Fue un día precioso y queremos mostrarles un poco de lo que disfrutamos ese día.

In April we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. We did something very special...we had a picnic in the park. We want to share some pictures of what we saw that day in the park.

Talent Night - Noche de Talentos

God has given everyone of us gifts and talents for us to put to good use and for His glory. Last Saturday at the Zalmedina Church many were given the opportunity to express their talents to the Lord Jesus Christ. After the singing was done, it was time to enjoy some cappucinos and expresos from the Koinonia Kafe.

Dios nos ha dado a todos dones y talentos para usarlos para el bien y para la gloria de EL. El sábado pasado en la Iglesia Zalmedina a muchos se les dio la oportunidad de expresar sus talentos al Señor Jesucristo. Después que se termino las canciones, era hora de disfrutar algunos capuchinos y expresos de la Koinonia Kafé.

Couples' Retreat 2008 Retiro de Parejas

We were blessed by ministering to the couples at the 2008 Zalmedina Church Couple’s retreat in late February. The theme for this year was 1st Corinthians 3:11, “For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” We emphasized the importance of developing a solid foundation for the family which is achieved through prayer and learning God’s Word individually and as a family.

A finales de febrero fuimos bendecidos al ministrar en el Retiro de Parejas de la Iglesia Zalmedina del 2008. El tema de este año fue 1ra de Corintios 3:11, “Porque nadie puede poner otro fundamento que el que está puesto, el cual es Jesucristo.” Enfatizamos la importancia de desarrollar un fundamento solido lo cual se logra por medio de la oración y aprendiendo la Biblia individualmente y como familia.
