Ivan & Jesus

Ivan was exposed to the Gospel early in his adolescent years when he attended the youth group Bible studies given at the Zalmedina Church when it was in another part of town. When he got older he turned to the party scene and all that it had to offer. Nearly a year ago he started looking for the church but it had moved from where it was when he was young. When he found it he began to attend, but he was still missing something in his life...Jesus in his heart. A brother from Africa invited Ivan to attend the Bible study in our home. As we got to know Ivan better, Marlan started to read the Bible with him and was able to point him to Scripture which led him to make a decision to surrender his life to the Lord. We praise the Lord that Ivan is growing in the knowledge and grace of the Lord and that he is not ashamed to share the Gospel with those he meets. Keep praying for Ivan.

Ivan fue expuesto al evangelio cuando era un adolescente al asistir a los estudios biblicos para jovenes dadas en la iglesia Zalmedina cuando estaba ubicada en otra parte de la ciudad. Cuando el crecio fue atraido por las fiestas y los vicios. Hace algunos meses Ivan empezo a buscar la iglesia donde el asistia cuando era joven pero se habia mudado de lugar. Cuando finalmente lo encontro, empezo a asistir a los cultos, pero algo todavia le faltaba en su vida...Jesucristo en su corazon. Un hermano del Africa invito a Ivan para acompanarle a la reunion de estudio biblico en nuestra casa. Al conocer a Ivan mejor, Marlan empezo a leer con el la Biblia y pudo mostrarle por medio de las escrituras que necesitaba un Salvador, y al verlo y entenderlo se rindio a los pies del Senor y le entrego su vida. Alabamos al Senor que Ivan esta creciendo en el conocimiento de la gracia de Dios y que no teme compartir el evangelio con aquellos que encuentra. Sigan orando por Ivan.
