A Day to Celebrate - Un Dia para Celebrar

We are celebrating as a family year number two in Spain. As a church we are celebrating that 10,000 envelopes with Gospel literature have been distributed in Arrabal and La Jota. As soccer fans in Spain, the winning of the European Cup. As citizens of the United States of America, Happy 4th of July.

Estamos celebrando, como familia, el segundo año en España. Como iglesia estamos celebrando que 10,000 sobres con literatura envangelistica han sido distribuidas en Arrabal y La Jota. Como fanáticos del fútbol en España, celebramos la victoria de la Euro Copa. Como ciudadanos de los Estados Unidos de América, Feliz 4 de Julio.

Another Daughter Baptized - Otra Hija Bautizada

Last weekend we had the privelege of traveling to another city to visit Oscar and Fanny and witness Fanny being baptized. Mercedes had led her to the Lord last year. That evening we celebrated the occasion the same way we celebrated after she accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior, we ate ice cream. We were able to stay overnight and attend the Sunday morning service the following day. We even spent time getting to know the pastors Antonio and Encarnación, their family and several members of the congregation Rey de Reyes where Oscar and Fanny attend.

El fin de semana pasado tuvimos el privilegio de viajar a otra ciudad y visitar a Oscar y a Fanny y ser testigos del bautismo de Fanny. Mercedes la llevo a los caminos del Señor el año pasado. Aquella noche celebramos el evento de la misma forma que celebramos su nuevo nacimiento comiendo helado. Pudimos quedarnos la noche y asistir al culto de adoración del domingo siguiente. También tuvimos el placer de conocer a los pastores Antonio y Encarnación, su familia y varios miembros de la congregacion de Rey de Reyes donde asisten Oscar y Fanny.

Help from Puerto Rico - Ayuda de Puerto Rico

We want to thank Myriam, Rosemary and Danny from Puerto Rico for helping us during the evangelistic campaign. The trio are in Spain traveling to different parts and helping out churches throughout the country. They were a big help in literature preparation and distribution.

Queremos agradecerles a Myriam, Rosemary y a Danny de Puerto Rico por ayudarnos durante la campana evangelistica. El trio están en España viajando a distintas partes del país y ayudando a las iglesias donde van. Fueron una gran ayuda en la preparación y la distribución de literatura.

Jose is with Jesus - Jose esta con Jesus

Two Sundays ago we received a phone call that, Jose, one of our dear brothers, is enjoying eternity with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We had the privelege of getting to know and love Jose just a few months after we arrived in Spain. Shortly after meeting him, he accepted the Lord as his Saviour. Some of you have seen his picture recently in the blog and that happened to be one of the last times we saw him before he went to Paradise. His family allowed me to say a few words before they placed his remains in the vault. Please pray for his family members that need to trust in Jesus, just as he had done...and is getting a head start on us all of being before the Lord. Jose, we will see you soon.


Hace dos domingos recibimos una llamada telefonica que, Jose, uno de nuestros hermanos queridos, esta disfrutando la eternidad en la presencia de nuestro Senor y Salvador Jesucristo. Tuvimos el privilegio de conocer y querer a Jose a solo meses despues de nuestra llegada a Espana. A muy poco tiempo despues de conocerlo, el recibio al Senor Jesus en su corazon como su Senor y Salvador. Algunos de ustedes han visto su fotografia recientemente en nuestra pagina web, esa fue una de las ultimas veces que lo vimos antes de que el fuera al Paraiso. En el entierro, su familia me permitio decir algunas palabras antes de sepultar sus restos en el nicho. Por favor oren por sus familiares que necesitan poner su confianza en Jesus, asi como lo hizo Jose...y el ha llegado antes que nosotros a disfrutar estar en la presencia del Senor. Jose, te veremos pronto.
