On April 20 we had an evangelistic event which took place at a Chinese restaurant. The idea was to invite our non-believing friends to a dinner at a “non-threatening” environment where they were presented with the Gospel. After the event they received a copy of the book Surprised by Faith by Dr. Don Bierle of Faith Studies. There was a great turn out, exactly the amount of people we prayed for. One quarter of the guests expressed their desire to know more about the Lord. One lady has been attending church since the dinner, we have had two of the families over for dinner at our house.
El 20 de abril tuvimos un evento evangelistico que se llevo a cabo en un restaurante chino. La idea fue de invitar nuestras amistades no creyentes a una cena en un lugar neutral donde fueron presentados con el evangelio de Cristo. Después del evento cada familia recibió una ejemplar del libro Sorprendido por la Fe escrito por el Dr. Don Bierle del ministerio Faith Studies. Se logro una buena asistencia, llegaron exactamente la cantidad de personas por lo cual oramos. Una cuarta parte de los huéspedes que llegaron, expresaron su deseo de conocer mas acerca del Señor Jesucristo. Una señorita ha estado asistiendo a la iglesia desde la actividad y hemos tenido dos de la familias en nuestra casa para cenar.
